Second Annual Recognition Dinner A Real Success

The story of the Recognition Dinner was on the front page of the Ledger Enquirer today.

As you must know, there are dozens of people who deserve special thanks for making the occasion a success, but there are also those whose names were listed in the program as Volunteers and Friends of One Columbus who were not recognized. For those through the year 2005 that made their contributions individually and through their organizations, we are eternally grateful.

And to the key board and volunteer leaders who took key roles in making last night a success - my warmest “thank you.” For the tedious tasks of keeping up with money and seating assignments, securing sponsorships, developing and distribution printing and publicity materials, running errands and deliveries that make a big difference in taking an effort from "mediocre" to "great," to the performers both on stage and off and our guests - thanks loads.

If you missed this awesome event, there will be a story and pictures on our website www.onecolumbus.org next week.
