13th Annual Dare To Dream
Summit and Dialogue Groups.
The Dare To Dream Summit
reported in today’s Ledger Enquirer tells the story of a man who, as a
child, experienced murders and killings all around him - even his own
family members Despite these tragedies, he has opted for
reconciliation rather than revenge as a way of life. That’s what Joe
Sebarenzi told the students and hundreds of guests at the Dare To
Dream luncheon yesterday. In the three workshops, the nearly 70 youth
from the MCSD had a chance to address the three parts of peace -
relate, respect, and recognize. Billed as one of the best Summits, six
of the participants has a chance to talk about what they learned.
All of the answers were great,
but the one that caught my attention as One Columbus starts another
Dialogue Group next Tuesday are the words of Kendal Chandler from
Hardaway who said “When you put yourself outside your comfort zone,
you learn about each other.”
And that is exactly what
Dialogue Group 0602 will be doing on Tuesday. It’s open to the public
and it meets at the Holy Family Church down town at 5:30 PM.
Call Berrien Zettler at 324-6363

Our hats are off to the
Leadership Columbus Alumni, and the MCSD who, along with One Columbus,
provided the leadership for this fine effort.
MIXER is at 11:00 AM
Monday the 6th.
The One Columbus monthly MIXER
where you learn about the organization and its programs will take
place in the Government Center ANNEX at 11:00 AM.
