Each
Saturday at noon, the City tests its Emergency
Warning System. If you are in a safe place, and
would not endanger anyone, and hear the sirens,
you are asked to pause for a moment and use this
opportunity to pray.
I was reminded that this week is the
anniversary of the violence that took place on
the Virginia Tech campus a year ago. I'll offer a
special prayer for those families and the many
families here in the Columbus area and around
the world that have lost relatives to violence.
