Each Saturday at noon, the Columbus Consolidated Government tests its Emergency Warning System. If you are in a safe place, and would not endanger yourself or anyone, and hear the sirens, you are asked to pause for a moment and use this opportunity to pray. This week at Fort Benning, hundreds of our service men and women from the Third Brigade are coming home and others are preparing to go to various assignments all over the world.  They and their families deserve our thanks and our prayers.

Former Mayor Bob Poydasheff will be the presenter at the First Presbyterian Dialogue Group beginning at 6:30pm on Tuesday. He will discuss some of the diversity challenges and opportunities that developed during his administration and how he handled them. These sessions are open to the public.  Please use the First Avenue entrance across from the CB&T parking garage.
