Monday, September 15, 2008 - The Aftermath of 9/11 -
Film/Dialogue
On Thursday, the nation paused to honor the memory of those
who were lost in the tragedy of the twin towers seven years ago.
The first recorded death in retribution was of a man shot to
death because he was wearing a turban. One Columbus and St.
Thomas Episcopal Church are hosting the screening of Divided We
Fall - Americans in the Aftermath. This documentary provides the
backdrop for community dialogue about hate, violence, and what
this means to us as Americans. The screening is set for Monday,
September 15, 2008 beginning at 6:30 pm at St. Thomas Episcopal
church on Hilton Avenue.
Columbus, Georgia, along with over 60 other cities in America
are providing opportunities for the public to screen the film
followed by a dialogue sesssion. See the website
