TUESDAY,  December 2, 2008 - Dialogue Group - No meeting

The First Presbyterian Dialogue Group that usually meets on Tuesdays will not meet Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in deference to Emmy Award winning national correspondent Juan Williams who will be speaking at the Main Library at 7:00 pm.

The multimedia exhibit 381 days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story tells the dramatic tale of how one Southern city struggled with institutionalized segregation in the 1950s. When Rosa Parks famously informed her bus driver that she would not give up her seat for a white man, she set off a remarkable series of acts of civil, non-violent disobedience that ultimately led to the overturning of the law.  This awesome exhibit continues in the Main Library until January 11, 2009.  It is not one that you should miss.

Williams' visit to Columbus is one of many special events that are being presented in conjunction with the 381 days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story.

Juan Williams is an American journalist, author and radio and television correspondent. He is a Senior Correspondent at National Public Radio, has written at length for The Washington Post, regularly appears as a contributor on Fox News, and is an Emmy Award winner.[1]
