Study Circles

Study Circles are sponsored by the Psychology/Sociology Department and the University College of Columbus State University.

Study Circles are organized as integral parts of for-credit courses, with additional materials corresponding to the catalog-described curriculum for the courses.

Study Circles begin on the University’s class schedule and are taught by Dr. John Studstill (Introduction to Cultural Diversity) and two student facilitators. A second course in the Psych/Sociology Department is taught by Dr. Florence Wakoko and Ms. Vicky Partin (Race and Ethnic Relations).

Each course runs for 5 weeks - 2 hrs per week, ending with a joint action forum.

Contact persons: Ms. Vicky Partin 706-327-0400 or Dr. John Studstill 706-568-2116
