Study Circles
Study
Circles are sponsored by the Psychology/Sociology Department and
the University College of Columbus State University.
Study
Circles are organized as integral parts of for-credit courses,
with additional materials corresponding to the catalog-described
curriculum for the courses.
Study
Circles begin on the University’s class schedule and are
taught by Dr. John Studstill (Introduction to Cultural
Diversity) and two student facilitators. A second course in the
Psych/Sociology Department is taught by Dr. Florence Wakoko and
Ms. Vicky Partin (Race and Ethnic Relations).
Each
course runs for 5 weeks - 2 hrs per week, ending with a joint
action forum.
